In the spirit of Dr. Eleanor M. Saffran's legacy, the Eleanor M. Saffran Center for Cognitive Neuroscience provides a venue for interdisciplinary research in the neural and psychological basis of language and cognition.
Our aim is to understand and explore the relationship between language and other cognitive processes, such as attention and memory. These findings are used to develop effective treatment programs for the rehabilitation of language disorders, thus fulfilling the mission inspired by Dr. Saffran.
